Who are Aspiring Canines?
Aspiring Canines provides dog walking, training and homestays in Queenstown, Alexandra, Cromwell & Wanaka, Otago and is run by Brett and Alysha. We are passionate about ensuring your dog is fulfilled and happy.
Brett has many years of experience, training and up to date knowledge to ensure your best mate gets only the best. Just ask any of his clients and they will tell you that Brett provides the love, care and fun all dogs need and deserve.
Alysha has come on board recently after spending time learning from Brett and developing that passion for helping dogs also.
Originally based in Auckland Brett saw a need for his services in the South Island, after falling in love with the area, and moved to Otago in 2020.
Whether you would like some one on one training, or to just get your dog out socialising and having adventures, we offer it all!
Servicing Wanaka, Cromwell, Alexandra & Queenstown and surrounding areas, Aspiring Canines are here to help your dog live it's best life!

What the Humans have to say about us
"Brett offered to help out with a dog in our care, Rubble, that had some issues with other dogs, and how he related to them. Brett was his lifeline and the best shot he had of working through these and being able to be rehomed safely. What he did with this reactive dog was nothing short of a miracle. Brett, Alysha and their dogs helped Rubble learn that dogs are ok, people are to be trusted, and that he can live a happy, fun life without anxiety or fear.
Our team are forever grateful for the work Brett has done with Rubble, and the many other dogs in our care he has helped. If you have a dog that needs help, pick up the phone and call Brett. It'll be the best decision you've ever made"
